LEAGUE INFORMATION

Cup competitions

We run league cups in all age groups which may be initially on a "league" basis or a straight knock-out. We also encourage the less-successful teams with the Presidents Cup and the Phoenix Trophies Cup. We try to stage the cup finals on good grounds like Eccleshill United and Guiseley F.C.

The league organises football for young people in age groups under 11 to under 17. Where there are sufficient numbers, teams are divided up into divisions. There is promotion and relegation between sections each season.

We are members of the National Association of Youth Football Leagues.

Aims

Our aims are to encourage enjoyment and sportsmanship as much as winning. We run the league for the benefit of the member clubs and their players. We aim to respond to ideas and wishes. It is our intention to run an efficient as well as friendly league keeping everyone well informed.

 
 
  Normally home and away games are played. We may run supplementary competitions if fixtures have gone well to give our teams some extra games. All clubs award match points to their opponents and trophies are given out at the end of the season. Up-to-date information including results, fixtures, league tables and news items are to be found on the FA/FULL-TIME website. For the 2007-2008 season the qualification date for under 11, 12 13, 14, 15 & 16 will be 31st August 2007, for u17 it will be 31st of July 2007.
